How to Apply for Club Grants
Media Release: Grants from your Club are now available!
Rich River Golf Club Ltd is committed to supporting the local community through donations and ClubGRANTS with funding contributed to numerous local charitable and sporting organisations. The Club supports these organisations through cash or in-kind donations including provision of the sporting facilities for a number of charity and fundraising events held during the year.
The ClubGRANTS (formerly CDSE) Scheme is a shared arrangement between registered clubs that earn over $1 million annually in gaming machine revenue and the NSW State Government. It is funded by a 2.25% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the State Government and aims to assist community organisations to meet local community development and community service needs.
|Category 1 expenditure on specific community, welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. Applicants must apply directly to the relevant Local Committee or Local Committee Convener. Click here for more information.|
|Category 2 expenditure on other community development and support services (eg traditional areas of club expenditure, such as support for sport and recreation groups). Online Application Form|
|Category 3 expenditure represents 0.4% of a club's gaming machine profits over $1 million which is placed in a state wide pool to support large scale sport, health and community infrastructure.|
Category 1 applications are considered by the Murray Shire local ClubGRANTS Committee which has been convened to oversee the application process, consisting of club representatives, Council and DoCS.
Projects in the following categories qualify for Category 1 funding:

|Community Development||Employment Assistant Activities||Eligible Natural Disasters|
Applications for Category 2 funding (including sport, cultural and other activities) are administered directly by the Club, and a written application should be made to the Board of Directors or submit an online application .
